Your makeup is as important to your finished look as the clothing you wear, in fact, it can actually be more important.You may even feel naked without your makeup on for the day.

Applying your eye shadow on correctly really isn’t as hard you think it might be. It really is just a matter of finding the right technique and works for you and your personal style. Don’t worry if it takes a few tries to get it right.
Here is a few tips I think may be helpful.

Always apply a base coat on your eyes just as you do to the rest of your face. Look for a eye shadow primer for your base before application. You can apply your liquid foundation to the eye lid up to under your brow. There are a lot of them on the market these days and they all tend to do the same thing, which is making it so your makeup stays put.

Blend, blend, and then blend some more. You can always tell when someone just applied their makeup and walked out their door. It looks like three layers of color and it just looks very unprofessional. Being these days we are judged more about how we look than ever before. I can’t stress this enough that got to blend. If you are working with pressed eye shadows are a bit harder to blend do to how you apply them. Loose powder just as mineral makeup is a bit easier to blend. By using your fingers you can get blend that way.

If you want dramatic eyes, take your eye shadow brush, dip it into water, and then into the shadow, then apply. It will give you a much deeper, dramatic color. If you are looking to create dramatic eyes using mineral eye shadows instead of pressed? Take a bit of the mineral eye shadow and put in the lid of your mineral eye shadow. That will give you enough to work with, and you can always add more if needed. Do not put water into your full jar of mineral eye shadow because that will just make a mess and you end up throwing it away. Take a mini typed brush and get the brush wet not the eye shadow in the main jar. You will have better control of how it will look as eye liner or as eye shadow.

Starting with if you have blue eyes wear purple, violet, taupe, gray, gray brown, deep blue, and black. Funky colors include shades of orange, fuchsia, turquoise, and silver.

If you have green eyes, plum eye shadow wear purple, plum, forest green, brown, and khaki. Funky colors include light green, gold, and bright purple.

If you have hazel yes you can wear colors both from the browns or green eyes. Just how awesome is that?
Use brown as your base coat and apply it from the lash line to the crease and then place around with a little bit of gold right in the middle of your lid. That will really pop out your hazel shadow of eyes. Play around with browns and shades of copper, and gold to really bring out the green of your eye color.

If you have brown eyes, wear champagne, copper, brown, apricot, khaki, and beige. Funky colors include royal blue, tangerine, hand hot pink.
A really need way you can play up you eyes is want to go for eye shadow shades such as terracotta or reddish-brown/golden shades. Any warm shadow in that color family will add depth to your eyes.

Depending on your own personal taste in eye shadows. Just about anyone can wear navy, powder blue, and charcoal. Try navy as your eyeliner instead of going without. It can really pop out yours and even make the whites of your eyes look even whiter! Fun colors include silver.

First thing to do is apply your lightest shade of eye shadow from your lash line all the way up to under your eye brows. That helps give you a base to work from.

Highlight along the brow bone. Doing it this way will make your features stand out naturally and beautifully. When you apply your highlight color up under your eyebrows, use the same shade eye shadow in the inner corner of the eye to reflect and make your eyes look younger.
